International Network participation by Verva

These are the international networks and workgroups in which Verva participates.

Electronic commerce and electronic procurement

  • eProcurement working group. This Advisory Committee to the EU Commission works with the directive on e-procurement within the Single market. The group works in parallel and in cooperation with IDABC:s eProcurement group with the implementation of the directive.
  • IDABC Expert group on Electronic public procurement. The group works with the technical implementation of the new rules on electronic procurement within the EU.
  • CEN WS eCat eCATALOGUE. The group works with standards for use of electronic catalogues in procurements.

Architecture and frameworks for interoperability

  • Expert group on Interoperability infrastructure. IDABC. The purpose is to realise the solutions for cross-border interoperability which are formulated in the infrastructural framework (EIF) and the rules for the architecture (AGL).
  • CEN/ISSS – eGovernment Focus Group. Identifies, positions and documents important standards, initiative and activities that develops the advancement of eGovernment. The group also investigates how a permanent organisation could be organised and how it can contribute to the coordination of Pan-European e-services, within the framework for the IDABC-programme.
  • IDABC Promoting an open document interchange format.. Makes follow-ups on IDABC:s policy for open document interchange format and continues working on the establishment for these formats for information transfer within Europe.
  • ISO TC46/SC11 Archives/Record Management. Develops and administers method-standards for documentation handling, e-archiving and meta-data-models.
  • DLM Forum, Document Life Cycle Management Forum. DLM is an association initiated by EU. Its members are the EU- member countries national archives, eGovernment agencies, consultants and suppliers.
  • IDABC Semantic interoperability strategy/xml Clearinghouse.
  • CEN ISSS/ADNOM  (ADministative NOMenclature) Workshop. Its purpose is to  establish a network between European translation and terminology organisations in order to develop and spread a harmonized administrative terminology with the help of a internet-based database. One important result is a working form for future work with semantic interoperability.
  • IDABC Expert group on Testa Data communications network service.
  • IDABC Expert group on E-link. E-link development has as a starting point in the Swedish SHS-specification.

  • Human Resource Working Group (HR).
  • Innovative Public Services Group (ISPG) Arranges the European Quality Conference. IDABC-programme.
  • IDABC Committee for pan-European e-administrative services. (PEGSCO). Committee for control of EU:s IDABC-program.
  • IDABC Technical committee for pan-European e-services.
  • Open Source Software. Works on issues such as Dissemination of good practice in open source software and Open Source software repository.
  • 1.8.13 E-government observatory. Manages the web site (http://europa.eu.int/idabc/egovo) where member countries can publish information about their national development towards e-Government.
